What is it!

A tractor fixer-upper has an unidentified tractor.

Is it homemade or is it factory?

If you can identify this tractor I will personally ship you an Owosso Tractor Parts Hat, Free!

e-mail me if you can identify this machine. bobscorner@owossotractorparts.com

V-8 Flat Head Ford Engine. Distributor on the front of the timing cover. Dual top radiator hoses connect into two separate hose connections at the top of the radiator (looks factory). Hydraulic brakes with hand lever's on each side. Has a  8" differential with narrowed up Ford rear axle assembly. Has a 1 bottom plow, someone hooked a hydraulic pump on the front crank pulley and put a hydraulic lift cylinder on it but it was a manual lift. The plow is sitting on the rear axle (see photo).  Fenders look like they are factory.  Has a welded channel frame all the way around, front to back.  Steering gear has a chain from the lower steering shaft to a sprocket on top of a Ford steering gear box. We believe this could have possibly been made in the 1930's. Jim say's the instrument gauge assembly had a mercury temperature gauge on the bottom and is from the 1930's. Wiring harness is there also. Notice the front right hand side panel.  If it's not factory then someone really took their time making it look like one.

Believe it or not Jim will get this machine up and running again. He loves bringing these old pieces back to life.
When he does I'll post the finished product photo's here so stay tuned.

Go ahead, print it off if you want to. You have my permission. Any information would be appreciated. Click on photo's to enlarge.
